BUILD is an incubation program designed to strengthen women-led businesses in Indonesia, recognising the growing role they play in the country’s economy. According to the World Bank, women-owned businesses accounted for around 35% of all businesses in Indonesia in 2021, yet many women entrepreneurs continue to face limited access to finance, gender stereotypes, and cultural barriers that can hinder business growth.
BUILD responds by providing access to finance, expert mentorship, and market opportunities across Indonesia and the region. Beyond building business capacity, the program creates pathways to new partnerships, including corporate vendorships and product co-creation, helping women-led businesses expand their reach and unlock new opportunities.
